Worth knowing

That "$99 whole-house special" is a bait ad - the real number appears once they are in your hallway, or the "clean" is a shop-vac at the register. We photograph the inside of your ducts before and after instead.

Air Duct Cleaning Before & After in Henderson, NV

Most homeowners never see inside their own ducts. They just notice the dust settling back on furniture two days after cleaning, or the rooms that never quite smell fresh. Before-and-after photos change that. Here’s what we actually pull out of Henderson homes, what the same duct looks like after we’re finished, and why the Cedarwell Care Promise matters to your floors while it happens.

Twenty Years of Dust in a Green Valley Ranch Return Vent

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter
Green Valley Ranch return vent, before cleaning. The gray mat along the vent wall is compacted dust and pet hair, not filter material.

The homeowner in Green Valley Ranch hadn’t had the ducts opened since the house was built. The return side was carrying a dense gray mat of construction dust, pet hair, and years of candle soot. We ran the Rotobrush system through the full return and supply runs, then followed with a Nikro negative-air setup so dislodged dust left the house instead of drifting back into the living room. After photos showed bare galvanized metal, and the homeowner said the hallway no longer smelled like a closet when the AC kicked on.

Paul Adeyemi, Owner at Mortons Air Duct Henderson, on this job: “The return looked like a lint trap. That’s not a knock on the homeowner. It’s just what happens when a vent pulls air, unfiltered, for twenty years.”

Pet Hair Packed Into a Supply Run by Anthem’s Dog Runs

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter
Anthem supply duct, before cleaning. The tan clumps along the bottom are compacted dog hair mixed with desert dust.

This Anthem home had two large dogs and a backyard of decomposed granite. The supply ducts near the floor registers had collected a mix of fine granite grit and pet hair so thick it had hardened into a felt-like layer on the duct floor. We used an Abatement Technologies HEPA-filtered vacuum with extended-reach attachments to pull the packed material loose, then cleaned the full supply run with Guardsman brushes. The after photo shows clean duct surfaces and airflow the homeowner could feel at the register within minutes.

We used pet-safe product choices throughout and kept the front room quiet while the family’s new puppy napped in another part of the house. That’s part of how we work: the C.A.R.E. values mean we don’t just clean well, we clean without turning your afternoon upside down.

Builders’ Debris in a Cadence Rental Before Move-In

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter
Cadence duct, before cleaning. Drywall scraps, sawdust, and a drywall screw sitting in the first supply run off the plenum.

A property manager in Cadence called us before a new tenant moved in. The home had been renovated after the previous tenant left, and the duct runs closest to the air handler had caught drywall dust, paint flakes, and even a few drywall screws. We cleaned every supply and return run with a Horsepower-driven Nikro vacuum setup and hand-fished the debris that wouldn’t move with air alone. The after photo shows clean sheet metal, and the tenant moved in without an HVAC complaint. That’s the kind of phone call property managers don’t have to make later.

We always provide a written price before work starts. When a manager is juggling a move-in date, knowing the number is fixed matters. No surprises on the invoice.

Years of Candle Soot Along a Whitney Ranch Supply Trunk

Technician using professional air duct cleaning equipment outside a home
Whitney Ranch supply trunk, before cleaning. Dark soot streaking along the metal sides where air moves slowest.

This Whitney Ranch homeowner burned candles regularly for years. The wax particles and soot don’t stay in the room. They get pulled into the return, pushed through the blower, and deposited wherever the airflow drops. In this case, that was the first eight feet of the supply trunk off the plenum. We cleaned the trunk and all branch runs using a combination of Rotobrush mechanical agitation and Nikro negative-air collection. The after photo shows the metal stripped back to its original silver. The homeowner noticed the difference most at night, when the air coming from the vents no longer carried a faint smoke smell.

Before the crew started, we laid drop cloths from the front door to the mechanical closet and put shoe covers on at the door. When we finished, we photographed the cleanup so the homeowner could see the floors looked the way they did when we arrived. That photo is not optional. It’s part of every job we do.

Crawl Space Return Pulling Dust From Under a Mission Hills Home

Technician using a rotating brush tool for professional air duct cleaning
Mission Hills return duct, before cleaning. The return in the crawl space had been pulling air through a small duct gap, leaving a dust layer inside every downstream run.

Mission Hills homes sit close to open desert, and this one had a crawl space return that had been pulling dust through a small separation in the return path. The result was a fine layer of desert dust coating every supply register downstream, all through the house. We sealed the separation with metal tape, cleaned the full return and supply system with our professional equipment, and replaced the filter housing gasket. The after photo shows clean registers and a duct system that now pulls air only through the filter, where it belongs.

We’ll tell you plainly if we find something like this. A gap in a return is a fixable problem. Left alone, it means you’re paying to condition dust that never should have entered the system.

Dryer Vent Cleanout in a Sun City Anthem Home, Before It Became a Fire Risk

Technician performing professional air duct cleaning services in a residential hallway
Sun City Anthem dryer vent, before cleaning. Lint had reduced the vent opening to about two fingers wide.

This Sun City Anthem homeowner called because the dryer took two cycles to dry a load of towels. When we pulled the dryer away from the wall, the vent behind it was nearly closed with compressed lint. We ran a rotating brush through the full vent run to the exterior and used a professional vacuum to collect the lint, then tested the airflow at the outside termination. The after photo shows a clear vent and a dryer that now finishes a normal load in one cycle.

A clogged dryer vent is one of the few things in this job that carries real risk if ignored. We don’t use scare tactics to sell the work. But when we see this, we’ll tell you what it is, what it costs to fix, and what happens if it’s left alone. That’s just how Paul runs the business.
